Louise Kay was a long-time and deeply beloved parishioner of St. Thomas More Parish. In her lifetime, she was a wife, mother, grandmother, and nurse, among other things. She served in the U.S. Air Force, travelled the world, and dedicated her time to numerous civic groups and charities, was always to be found at the many events at St. Thomas More Parish, and was one of the first members of the parish's Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
In 2013, the parish converted a six-plex apartment building situated on the south end of the parish campus into a classroom building for Children's Faith Formation, as well as a community room and kitchen. After her death in November 2013, the parish dedicated the building to Mrs. Kay in thanksgiving for her dedication, generosity, and love for St. Thomas More.
